Here at Forma Landscapes we take play seriously. Born and raised in Sweden, where children are brought up with a very close relationship with nature and where it is recognised that children need to play with the world around them, we are committed to providing stimulating, exciting and creative outdoor spaces for children to enjoy and explore. We focus on all of the senses and include in our designs a wealth of opportunities for children to seek out sensory stimulation through play.

We design magical outdoor play spaces for children of all ages and abilities. Each of our gardens has a clear overall structure to ensure a coherent well-designed space is obtained suitable to our client's unique needs. The elements within are well proportioned and balanced to create harmonious yet stimulating and fun outdoor retreats. Paths, lines of desire and focal points are carefully planned to encourage movement and to create journeys through our gardens.

We work mainly with clients in the public realm, including schools, nurseries and colleges. We adopt a collaborative approach and work closely with our clients. We strive to gather input from the users of a space to create environments where a sense of ownership and inclusion evolves naturally with the garden. We help to turn initial concepts into workable and imaginative solutions for any given outdoor space.
